The LID Center led the planning, design, and construction oversight of the Memorial Park Streetscape Project, transforming the 3300–3400 block of Rhode Island Avenue and Perry Street into a vibrant community hub. The project revitalized the streetscape with stormwater-friendly features, enhanced landscaping, and outdoor gathering spaces, supporting local businesses and community activity.
The LID Center managed the project from concept through completion, providing key services including:
- Survey coordination
- Design and construction drawings
- Community engagement
- Permitting and funding coordination
- Construction oversight
The $1.127 million project was constructed by Usource Construction and celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in March 2025.
