The LID Center has participated in Prince George’s County’s Treating and Teaching program since 2016. This program is a collaborative effort between the Anacostia Watershed Society, Prince George’s County, the Chesapeake Bay Trust, the LID Center, the Neighborhood Design Center, and other local nonprofits. Each year, the LID Center has had the opportunity to design outdoor learning features for two schools. The LID Center is currently engaged in a collaborative design process with students and teachers from Dwight D. Eisenhower Middle School, Robert Goddard Montessori School, Friendly High School, and Concord Elementary School.
