Mount Rainier, Maryland Green Infrastructure Study

This project looked at the potential to use green infrastructure to create attractive and accessible streets along the commercial corridor and residential neighborhoods in Mount Rainier, MD. This included opportunities to retrofit streets and private properties. The LID Center used the EPA National Stormwater Calculator to help develop retrofit templates that would result in the most effective approaches for the community. This project was funded through a Technical Assistance Grant from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation. The project document can viewed or downloaded here.
